Privacy policy

Estfolio is a property portfolio book at estfolio.com, run by Estfolio. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Write to support@estfolio.com with any question.

We collect what the book needs to work.

• Account details: your name, email address and password hash.
• Your book: properties, leases, tenants, contacts, loans, ledger entries, tasks, permits, notes and the documents you upload.
• Billing: your plan status and Stripe customer id. Estfolio never stores card numbers.
• Technical: the session cookie and your preferences, plus standard server logs with IP address and browser type.

We do not run advertising trackers. Cookies are limited to your session and your preferences.

• To run your book and show you your own figures.
• To bill you once a year and send you receipts.
• To send you transactional email, such as sign in links, reminders you turned on and rent links you send.
• To answer support requests.
• To keep the service secure and to find and fix faults.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your book to train models or to market to third parties.

• Supabase hosts the database, file storage and authentication in its US East region.
• Stripe processes payments. Card details go to Stripe and never touch Estfolio.
• Resend delivers transactional email.

Each account is isolated. No owner can see another owner's portfolio. Estfolio staff open an account only to answer a support request you made or to investigate abuse.

Your book stays as long as your account does. Reading and exporting your own data stays open after a plan lapses. To delete your account, write to support@estfolio.com. We remove your data within 30 days and clear it from backups within 60 days. Billing records stay as long as tax law requires.

• Export your data from the Reports section at any time.
• Turn reminders on or off in Settings.
• Ask us to correct or delete your data by writing to support.

Data travels over TLS and rests encrypted at the hosting layer. Access to your book is scoped to your account by the database itself. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. No system is perfect; if a breach touches your data we will tell you promptly.

Estfolio is for adults. Anyone under 18 may not use the service.

If this policy changes we will post the new version here with a new effective date. Continued use after that date is acceptance of the new policy.
